Baszler, LaRosa, and Ellis Make U.S. Grappling Team
Top MMA fighters Shayna Baszler, Tara LaRosa, and Lisa Ellis are now apart of the U.S. Grappling team after winning the trials in Las Vegas this past weekend.
Baszler (#3 in the Bantamweight Unified Rankings) will be representing the 65 kg (143 lbs.) weight class.
LaRosa (#1 ranked in the Super Flyweight Unified Rankings; pictured left) will be representing the 60 kg (132 lbs.) weight class.
and
Ellis (#4 ranked in the Flyweight Unified Rankings) will represent the 50kg (110 lbs.) division.
The tema will compete at the FILA Grappling World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, Sept. 29 – Oct. 1.
