Several female grapplers and fighters came home with a little extra hardware coming back home from the FILA World Grappling Championships in Serbia over the weekend.

#4 Unified ranked MMA fighter Lisa Ellis got gold in No-gi grappling, being one of only two representative making the trip in the submission grappling portion of the games.

The team had more success in the Pakration portion of the championships. Katrina Maki (65 kg), Kristin Palmejar (50 kg), and Laura Edler-Hill (absolute) all won golds, and the U.S. Pankration team got a team silver.

Congratulations to all the grapplers.
